She's so cute, it's almost illegal!

Okay, really, she is cute but it's helpful when your Dad is the arresting officer! No worries, we weren't in any trouble during M's session...just having a bit of fun with her Dad and some of his buddies. Well.. alot of fun! I'm so glad the weather held off and we got the session in...I was worried for a bit that the rain was coming. We were lucky. M, it was so nice to photograph you yesterday. The studio images are great as well and I can't wait to show you them all! You have changed so much since middle school when I first met you and your family. I remember 7th grade basketball and track. You are a sweet young lady and it was my pleasure to hang with you yesterday.

Meet B! B came to the studio last week for her session and unfortunately, the location portion was rescheduled due to inclement weather..Okay, it didn't rain but it had been raining alllll daaaaayyyy long and the humidity was through the roof. One thing I refuse to do is make a senior girl go through a session with high humidity. I can't wait to get B outside and in the park~ it's going to be great. She's a natural in front of the camera. B, it was great meeting you and your Mom. Thanks for choosing our studio for your senior portraits!!!

I am so happy to introduce you to our newlyweds from today. Lisa Adams from Lisa Adams Photography (http://www.lisaadamsphoto.com/) and I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding. All week, I've been worried about the weather since theirs was an outdoor wedding. Mother Nature was very kind to us today! A picture perfect day was had today! The sun was shining, the sky was clear, there was just the hint of a breeze and the day was perfect. They are such a cute couple and we had such a good time photographing their wedding. Meet Sweet K! I had so much fun with K yesterday in our studio session. Poor girl, we almost had to kick her mom out of the session! I'm just kidding...mom was fine...of course, it doesn't help that our families are good friends and that her mom and I are "BFFs" according to our children. I love when I get a senior in the studio who is willing to try things outside of their comfort zone and let me do what I do best. K has the most beautiful complexion and I'm so glad we were able to capture that and highlight her gorgeous blue eyes!!! Can't wait to do our location session in September and sneak a few more shots in before then. Thanks K, for putting up with my craziness and your mom's goofiness!

Meet the S Family. This is the second family session I have done for them and I photographed both of their sons' senior pictures as well. It's always such a pleasure to see the S family and work with them. This time, though, there was an addition of the four legged kind! Joey is such a cute dog...big...fiesty...did I say big?...to photograph. He did really well despite all the distractions the park offers. So many people milling about not to mention the other animals! Thanks for coming back this year. Best of luck to R and E as they head off to college this fall!

Meet J! And could he possibly be any cuter???? What a fun little guy he was to photograph. I love this age...they are so funny and just never know what they are going to do next. We took J to the Octagon House, one of my favorite locations to shoot at...there is so much there, including wildlife, which, truth be told, freaks me out just a bit. I still don' t know if they are ground hogs or hedgehogs but in any case, they sure do have alot of them at the House! Didn't bother J or his mom and dad so all was good. Thanks for all of your wrangling M and C!

Meet K! Let's see, I've known K for a very loooonnnggg time and spent many weekends with her and her mom over the years at various soccer tournaments and what not. Let me tell you, this girl completely surprised me at her session this week! I've always known K was beautiful, both inside and out but sheesh, she looks so different than her ponytail and uniform! Can't wait to get outside and finish our session! Bummer about the wind but no way was I going to squander my chance to photograph K with 25 mph winds!!!

y Girls...this is what I do in my spare time..lol..I force my own kids to work with me...when the light is sweet and the day is almost done, I often drag them and some props outside and shoot. I love to capture them. They pretend sometimes that it's a sacrifice to come model for me but if you look really closely, you'll see they love it. It makes me so happy to have these stolen moments with each of my girls. Soon enough, they will be out on their own, with families of their own...sigh... Summer is fleeting...these special moments are fleeting as well.

Meet L! Gosh every year it seems like I say the same things...how beautiful all my clients are and how different they look when they come to the studio or our location for our shoot. I'm used to seeing L in a soccer uniform and pony-tail! I had to laugh at L when we were shooting. I'd ask for a more serious face and she didn't think she had one! I'd say she sure does and she rocks it! It was great seeing you again and I can't wait to finish proofing your sessions!

Gotta love a guy who likes his football right? Meet DD and boy does he like football. No worries, we did manage to get a few images of him without his football but this is his domain...where he feels most comfortable and it shows. DD is a ton of fun to work with and such a good sport. He is also a 2010 Model. By far, some of my favorite athlete/football player shots are his. Thanks DD for your patience this weekend! We had a late start and needed a few items to finish his session so we ran late. Oh and DD, no worries - the bug stories are safe with me...I won't tell I swear.

Meet E again! E is also a Class of 2010 Model. E is such a sweetheart and so easy to work with. She has beautiful eyes and lashes and I had to remind myself to back up when I photographed her! Her eyes just draw you in. E is a ton of fun too and such a nice girl. It was great working with you again and a pleasure to meet your mom. Thanks for making the long drive to our "secret" location! I'm excited to finish proofing your session.

Meet E again! E is a Class of 2010 Model and just a joy to photograph. The camera loves her! Thanks so much for getting up early to head out for our location session! I know it's not easy to be up ready and on your way as early as we had to be this week. But it was so worth it. The images are fabulous. At least this session the weather was good. Last time we were together, it was COLD. Felt great to be outdoors in the sun before it was too hot.

Finally, at long last, after everything Mother Nature could think of to try to thwart our efforts, we managed to finish Justin's session. Whew! The weather was perfect, although just a little buggy, but we were successful! Armed with two types of bug spray, we headed out. Thanks, Justin for being such a good sport!
