A little Family Fun

It was so nice to get away for a bit during the break! We had a chance to go visit family in North Carolina..it's always good to see everyone and spend some time getting to know the kids again. They just grow too fast. So many beautiful places to photograph them as well.

Talk about fun....

Ahhh, nothing like getting a change of scenery and spending some time in the fresh mountain air! After six long months of snow and bad weather it felt great to get outside and shoot a bit. Here are a few of some soon to be seniors! Lucky for us, while on break we found some beautiful places to use for portraits. Does J not have the loveliest curly hair (in some of her photos!) you have ever seen???? I cannot wait to photograph her again for her official portraits!

Now before you start requesting railroad images, let me tell you that there is a hefty travel fee involved in getting shots on these tracks! These were taken in North Carolina on a completely and definitely retired track. No train is EVER going to be on these tracks again. They are officially defunct. Unfortunately, around here, we don't have any out of use tracks to use for portraits..at least not yet! Do not attempt to take portraits on any track...first off it's
against the law...and secondly it just isn't safe unless the tracks are "dead".
What a great way to kick off the 2009, Class of 2010 season.

Congrats to the Class of 2009!

To all of you wonderful Seniors...congratulations on your upcoming graduation! I know life has nothing but good things in store for you! I wish you nothing but the best, health, happiness and much success.
