Here's Michelle! It was great to finally get to Michelle's session! We've talked about it for a few months I was very happy they booked with me. We had a beautiful morning (ssssshh don't tell, she skipped school , but it was worth it!) The sun was shining but it wasn't too warm and there was a nice breeze. Hard to believe it is the end of September. Thanks Michelle for choosing Beth Eggert Photography for your Senior Portraits!

Here's Amanda! Amanda is a Class of 2010 Senior Model! Isn't she just the cutest thing...I loved working with her and we had such a good time. The weather was good (okay so the studio session day in the field WAS a little buggy but definately worth it!). It was so nice to spend some time with you! Thanks again for all of your help this year.

Congratulations Stephanie and Adam!
I had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Adam's wedding on the 19th with my friend Lisa Adams. It was a beautiful day and their ceremony was at the point at Metro. Such a beautiful bride and handsome groom!
Congratulations you two. Best wishes for many years of happiness!

Here's D. What a beautiful evening we had for D's outdoor session. I'm always so happy when Mother Nature decides to cooperate.

D was great to work with. Easy pose (once he got the hang of crossing his feet the right way!) Gotcha D!

Thanks for choosing Beth Eggert Photography for your senior portraits! Looking forward to working with you in studio next week.

Here's J! Okay, take a look at the serious dude in the first shot and then look at the great smile and sweet guy in the second. Yep, same guy! It was so funny to try to get J to be serious and be the "tough" guy. I just don't think this big teddy bear can be a tough guy...It was such a fun session J. Thanks again for choosing our studio for your senior portraits.

Meet J! In case you hadn't noticed, this year I've become something of a pyromaniac. I can't explain it other than it's not really a new "thing" but an old thing revived and both the seniors and I get a kick out of it. As you can see, J was game. I toyed with the idea of lighting the pom but that probably wouldn't have been my best idea! Ha..so we used the next best thing...and since it is football season, I thought it was appropriate. So did she. Thanks J, for changing countless times in studio so we could play with fire...Can't wait to finish proofing your sessions.

Meet my friends Luke and Chase. Can ya tell Luke loves his cousin? I think it is clearly visible on his face how much he adores Chase and I think just as clear is Chase's affection for his little cousin. I'm so glad I was able to capture a few special moments between these two. We had such a good time spending the weekend with both Chase and Luke's families over the holiday. Can't wait to do the family sessions next month.

Here's Kevin!
It's funny. While driving too and from Kevin's session the other day, we were talking about how long I've known him. I realized that it has been quite sometime. I think since Kevin and Marie were in 6th grade together at East Middle School. That seems like forever ago. I'm sure his mom would agree, our babies have grown up way too fast. Such a nice young man Kevin is...okay he is a bit goofy but that's okay. We had a good time walking around Mt. Clemens for his session and the light was perfect...just a hint of the sun. Thanks Mother Nature, another good weather day!
Thanks Kevin for choosing us for your senior portraits. I know Marie would've much rather skipped school with you but you know her ocd kicked in! Ha.

A Little Junkyard Fun! okay so alot of junkyard fun. We took Marie and Kelsey to a great junkyard for part of their photo session. It was a bit scary at times and not a place for the feint of heart but definitely worth the risk! Such a unique place to shoot and so many cool old vehicles to incorporate...if you don't mind wading through knee high weeds and who knows what else. More than once I heard the scurry of little feet underneath the foliage...but aaaahh sooo worth it.

Wow..what a weekend! Let me just say that I so needed a chance to relax and enjoy the last little bit of summer and I cannot imagine a more beautiful place to do that than Lake in the Woods in northern Michigan. Big thanks for our wonderful host and hostess and to my friend for sharing her family with us. My girls and I had a great time and made lots of memories.
I think the good times are pretty evident by the first photo here! These three crazy girls had such a blast together and played so well that you hardly knew they were there!
It was my pleasure to photograph Kelsey while we were there as well. As always, it was an adventure. But aren't the images CUTE? Kelsey is CUTE...The green door is CUTE...the train is CUTE...the lake was CUTE...the junkyard was CUTE...are you seeing a pattern here? Thanks again. Can't wait to proof the rest of your session!

Do ya think she likes being front of the camera..Um..YEAH. Go Sam!

Here's J! Can ya guess what sport J plays? LOL..We had a lot of fun in the studio with J. I don't what it is but there is something fun about setting a helmet on fire (please, don't try this at home!) Of course, we're always playing it safe in the studio.
Poor J. Our session which was supposed to be at the park had to be switched to the city. I couldn't believe how bad the bugs were at Waldenburg. It was really crazy. I'm glad we ended up downtown...so many places to shoot there and I think walking around helped keep J relaxed.
Thanks J, for choosing our studio for your Senior Portraits.

Wow, I' ve been crazy busy the last few weeks and can see that I've fallen just a bit behind on my updates. If you facebook, be sure look me up as I often post sneak peeks there as well.
Meet D. D is my boyfriend...really..I kid you not...and he has been my boyfriend for just over 17 years. Yep. I've known D since he was born pretty much. His mom and dad and have been friends since we were his age. Gosh, now I feel really old. D used to be a bit shy and I used to tell him every time I saw him, starting when he was at just the right age to embarrass, that he was my boyfriend. Oh my, so many shades of red he would turn! Well, he's still a great kid and a big teddy bear just like his daddy. D it was great to hang with you last week. Sorry for the bugs!
