All Boy! And then some...

Here's C again! I had forgotten how much energy two year old boys have....oh my goodness..what a little bundle of energy and what a sweet guy! Poor C wanted nothing to do with me and only to play a bit in the park. Of course, it was all ready hot by 9:30 in the am and after just a few minutes, we were both well on our way to working up a good sweat! But hey, that's what summer is about right? Sand between our toes, or...um..in our hair as the case may be. Happy Summer C!

Sweet Baby....sweet sweet baby.

Meet sweet baby C! Finally a newborn that slept! Baby C was wonderful - wide awake for the beginnig of the session and sleepy the rest. Such a nice combination. Such beautiful skin and sweet disposition. I even managed to get mom and dad into a few images. More to come.

Rubba Dub Dub there's a GIRL in the tub!

Well sort of! Meet H.

Okay she IS in the tub and it wasn't pretty! But she sure is! Lookin good H. You just never know where I'm going to have you pose when we work on location. I think H. was a bit surprised but was game for climbing into the tub. I love shooting at the Octagon House. It's a great location with many shooting vignettes. Poor H. had to change a lot while we were there. Can't wait to do your studio session next week Heather!

Meet B!

Gosh what a terrific day we had shooting B's senior portrait sessions! It was a perfect morning, not too warm or too humid! Beautiful blue skies and a cool breeze...the perfect morning for doing a session and the location as always, just right! B knew how to work it too! I had such a great time and B relaxed right away. We have many awesome captures! I can't wait to share your session with you...Here are a few more for you to peek at...

Meet M!

Meet M! We had a beautiful day to photograph M outdoors. We headed over to Heritage Gardens to take advantage of the beautiful grounds there. So many areas right in that one location to shoot...as long as you dont' mind changing on the fly! Poor M had to make some major clothing changes during our session! What a good sport she was. We had a great time and could not have asked for better weather! I cannot wait to finish proofing her session.

You know the old saying, "Wild Horses couldn't drag me away"

Well it was true...almost literally. Meet J. I photographed J tonight at the stables where she boards her beautiful horse Bentley. Behind the barn, there is beautiful land, a bit over grown, and wild horse roam. We didn't see the herd but were very aware that we could at any moment. It was so lovely this evening with just a touch of that sweet golden light. I didn't want to stop shooting! Poor J was a good sport and humored me during her session. Sometimes I think she thought I was a bit off my rocker but she did what was asked with a smile!

Last but not Least The P family!

What a gorgeous family! And how fun to have a session in traditional Scottish attire! I just loved meeting your family and playing in the park with the kids. I really think there is something magical when you allow children to play and use their imagination! Sometimes, I am not able to capture the image that I have preconceived in my own imagination, and it never fails that the children provide something even better to photograph.

And here is the S. Family

I have to say, by far, this little man was the crack up of the day...with his impish grin and sassy humor, Zach kept Marie and I in stitches the entire time we were together. E and and M aka "Brittany" were such nice girls and so willing to do whatever we asked of them! What great big sisters!

The R family!

What a fun bunch of kids! Wednesday in New York was quite a hectic day but we managed to squeeze in some fun while we were shooting. A, J, and S were such good sports. And Grandma was a hoot! One of my favorite things to photograph is children playing. There is something innocent and sweet and endearing about those types of photos. When I look at these images, that's how I feel. Thank you so much for allowing me a glimpse into your family.

Meet the Girls

What beautiful girls, what a beautiful location. These images were taken at the Yaddo in Saratoga Springs Park. We were a bit rushed with the light since the weather was so wonky but I am really happy with the images we managed to squeeze it. It was unfortuante the perrgala is under construction and limited part of the gardens...still an amazing place to shoot.

Sneak Peeks are Here!

Last week I had an opportunity to photograph five lovely families in upstate New York. Marie and I had such a good time on our trip that the days just flew past. I haven't proofed everything yet but I know that they are waiting to see a few images so today is the day!!

First my dear friend and wonderful hostess Michele. Your boys are just the cutest thing! From Trevor's Rat to Trent's crazy hair!
