Meet Andrew and Julie (and Andrew and Emma)! Last week Lisa Adams and I had the opportunity to photograph Andrew and Julie at the Eastern Market in downtown Detroit. It was such a pleasure to see Julie and Andrew again, along with the kiddos, Andrew and Emma. Andrew (the son) is a Class of 2010 Beth Eggert Photography senior photography client! I was delighted when Julie called and wanted to book Lisa and I to photograph their upcoming March wedding. This family loves to hand out by the market and visit the shops and restaurants. Supino's is a family favorite and after our sessin they were heading there for dinner. While we were at the market, we had to head to Roma Cafe where this couple had their first romantic dinner.  Lisa and I are super excited to work with this terrific family next year. Thanks Julie and Andrew for traisping around the Market, in all of your finery, in some serious heat and humidity, all while Andrew was trying to recover from the flu!

Meet Marissa! Don't ya just love a girl that can rock the boots? I do! Marissa is a Class of 2012 Senior Model for my studio. It has been my pleasure to work with her over the last few months. She is a natural in front of the camera and we always have such a good time working together. Last week we had an opportunity to work at Heritage Gardens. It's a lovely park with plenty of areas to use for senior portraits. Marissa cam prepared to rock the session and she did! Thanks Marissa, for all of your help this year! See you soon at the studio.

 Meet Alexandra! Alex came into the studio for her session a while ago. It was great to meet her and her mom and we had a wonderful time capturing her images. She's a nataural in front of the camera. I love her hair and it was big fun using the fan to give her hair some lift - of course I got a little carried away as I always do. We then headed out to The Octagon House for her location session. It's always a treat to work there. So many different little vingettes to photograph and we managed to get some images with the beautiful flowers. Despite the gray skies, we didn't get any rain which was a good thing! Thanks Alexandra, for choosing Beth Eggert Photography for your senior Portraits!  Meet Alayna! Class of 2012! Alayna and her mom and her Aunt (well her "faux" anunt) and I had entirely too much fun at her location session this week. Perfect weather, beautiful light and lots of laughs.. what more could you ask for? (Maybe some ice cream Yvette?). We wandered around Mt. Clemens and photographed wherever we found the light!  Meet Hunter! Hunter is a Beth Eggert Photography, Class of 2012 Senior Model! She is also a very talented soccer player (MAC White MVP - Way to go Hunter!). It has been my pleasure to photograph Hunter a few times in the studio and definately my pleasure to get in her location session. Meet LCN Senior - Jordan! I know, this is a familiar face right? Yep.. Jordan is a Class of 2012 Senior Model and she's been in the studio a few times before. It's always so much fun when she comes in...we get to play with new lighting techniques, new backdrops and just be goofy. Jordan is just sucha natural in front of the camera! I am thrilled with the images we captured in the studio this week and can't wait until we head outdoors for her urban safari - hopefully it won't be 95 degrees with 80% humidity! Meet Elizabeth! Last week was one of the few so far this year that was almost perfect everyday for outdoor sessions. Elizabeth came to the studio for yearbook and a few field images. Love that I can offer my clients such variety, right in my own backyard. Then we headed into Mt. Clemens for a bit of an urban safari. Elizabeth is great in front of the camera and so sweet. We had a great time wandering around town, finding the best spots to use for her senior portraits...despite the kinda creepy guy who gave her his number. Meet the Beach Family!

We had such a beautiful evening for this family session... I was so glad the weather cooperated since we were determined to photograph this crew outdoors. The sun was shining, the kids were happy, the park was beautiful and all is well with the world. I had a terrific time with these kids - the girls were ready to go and did a great job trying to keep little brother in line. Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to the junkyard we go!

Here's Ethan! I have to say Ethan is another one of those seniors who I've known since he was just a little tyke,hanging around at the soccer fields during his big sisters games,while his dad coached. Our families have known each other for almost 12 year! It's fun to see what a terrific young man he has grown up to be. We recently vacationed with Ethan's family and we made a stop at our favorite junkyard while we were there! Gotta love a guy who isnt' afraid to tackle the unknown and there was alot of unknown. So this is how we spent a part of our Fourth of July weekend, traipsing through the waist high (or higher) weeds, watching the snakes slither away and blazing our own trail. It's always an adventure with Beth Eggert Photography (and Jon, the lighting guy, aka Ethan's dad). Thanks Jon for your help and thanks Ethan for being so fearless. See you in the studio soon!
